About Kiawah Wines

Amy and Loren Beadle are long-time residents of Kiawah Island, also splitting their time between the island and the Chicago, Illinois area. In 2004, after 23 years in the retail consulting industry, they retired from corporate life and opened their first store, SeaCoast Sports and Outfitters.

Today, they proudly own and operate eight retail shops and restaurants in South Carolina and Illinois. As a locally owned business, they strive to feature local and regional products whenever possible.

When not on the islands, Amy and Loren spend time in Chicago, where they help manage their businesses in Naperville, visit their family, support a large charter school network in the inner city, and enjoy the city's diverse and vibrant restaurant scene. They are passionate wine enthusiasts, collecting wines and spending 2-3 weeks each year exploring wine regions around the world.
